Brett is a learner and a planner. He was drawn to financial planning by his desire to help himself and others navigate the complex world of personal finance. He is a people person and enjoys being involved in his community. His skill is in finance, but when asked about what additional skill he would like to master, he answered, “DIY House Renovations!”
Brett loves finding new ways to think about money. He actively learns about alleviating financial burdens, allocating resources to personal pursuits, and saving for what matters most. His desire is to help clients by educating them about what money means to them personally and how it influences their everyday decisions. Brett has enjoyed volunteering as a tax preparer for refugees at the International Rescue Committee. He has an analytical mind, and is passionate about figuring out solutions to complex problems.
Brett studied at the University of Utah and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He enjoys road biking, pickle ball, and tennis. He also loves nonfiction and learning new things. His favorite book is Stephen Covey’s “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.”
